Signing up for service is easy. First we will need information about your practice. Next there are two major agreements that need to be signed and faxed to 508 371-3067. One is the standard HIPAA Business Associates Agreement. The second is the MedUnity SMREx Service Agreement. Once the two signed agreements have been recieved we will verify the information you supplied and contact you via fax or mail with your login information. Please note we may contact you by phone or fax for additional practice information. The SMREx Service is FREE until October 2007*.

*Free SMREx: MedUnity is offering it's SMREx service for free until October 2007. The are two restrictions on the free SMREx service offering. One is that you cannot send more than 250 SMREx records per month. Practices sending more than 250 SMREx records will be contacted by phone to continue the service for a fixed monthly price based on volume. The other restriction is that tech support is via our support web site or on a pay for service basis (contact the Support Team at 508 833 2272 for training and on-going support questions). Training on the SMREx service takes about an hour and we offer a two hour support and training package for $175. After October the price for the service will be based on a volume basis. Current cost for most practices will be between $50 and $100 per month.
