What is SMREx?
SMREx is a secure, HIPPA compliant electronic document transmission system that transfers patient information, reports, and referrals.

How does SMREx work?
| Sending using SMREx is just like a printing to a printer
on your PC. You “print” the information, select the recipient and send it. The SMREx information is delivered to the recipient electronically as a PDF. If a practice is not on the SMREx network they will receive your SMREx through their old fashioned fax machine and information on how to pickup the SMREx electronically. |

How do I receive SMREx documents?
Practices can pickup SMREx documents via the web or using our automated receive client.

Is SMREx difficult to use?
Not at all. Installation takes about five minutes and around twenty minutes to learn how to use. To the average user, it works much like the print command now used by everyone.

Is SMREx secure?
SMRExs are secured throughout out the entire process. SMREx information that is sent or received is encrypted with SSL encryption. Our dedicated servers reside in a HIPPA certified data center. SMREx also tracks usage information for complete audit tracking.

What is included?
Subscribers will get all the software necessary to easily send and receive SMREx documents. Subscribers will also get their own dedicated SMREx number that also can be used for receiving faxes.

So SMREx can Replace my Current Fax phone line / fax service?
Yes. SMREx includes a virtual fax number you can use to send and receive faxes with “out of network” practices. And with near unlimited capacity you will never have another busy signal again.

What does SMREx® cost?
For a fee of $65 per month, subscribers can send and receive SMREx documents electronically. This subscription includes 1000 pages of fax gateway usage each month for “off network” faxes. This contrasts with the $60+ per month it costs to maintain a single fax line.
